I remember, when I was four, that the first scene I saw of Superman, was he holding the train rails and leting the train pass over him. Then... I saw his face...

Christopher Reeve, made me believe in Superman... he was Superman  all my life (and he still is).

After the accident, Chris showed the real Superman that he had inside, and he showed us the Heart of Superman as it is.

Thank you very much Chris, for making me believe.

As a shy little girl, you were my hero, my friend, my confidence, my strength, and, of course, my Superman. I adored you as a child. Dressing up in my cape and red rain boots, running around the house, my arms outstreched. I owe you more than I can ever say. As I grew up, I forgot you even existed and I regret that everyday. I rediscovered you just 24 days before you died. I am a young teenager and I haven't suffered any losses of family members. But when you died, it felt like the death of a parent and it hit me harder than anything else has in my entire life. I will miss you everyday and I hope you are finally flying again. I love you! Chris Reeve was such a strong willed person. After his SCI, he never gave up. He was so determined to walk. I am deeply saddened by his death. He has done a lot for people who have spinal cord injuries. His memory will def live on. my deep condolences to his family.

Christopher was and always will be Superman to me. He was a great actor and a very nice looking man. I will never forget him and I thank God for letting all of us have him for as long as he did.

My loving thoughts and prayers go out to your family, dear one. You were for awhile just a handsome movie star...someone I had a crush on, someone that I never truly knew.  But after your accident, I was able to see who you were through your actions, through a 9 year fight that was heroic in its intensity.  You really were a hero to many, not just to us fans but to those who were in the same situation that you were.  I can't imagine the depth of your love and courage, to have been able to put aside your fear and grief over your own paralysis in order to give hope and joy to others who were coping with it too.  I envy your wife, your friends and your family because they really got to know you and be with you on a daily basis.  When I see your photo here on the sight, it makes me wish I could've met you at least once, so I could have told you just how special I thought you were. 

You were the bravest person that's ever been, and even though your loss is sad for all of us, I am happy that after such hard work, you are finally free of that body and that chair.  Fly free, dear one. You've earned it.
